We stayed here before going on a cruise out of Miami. It served its purpose very well. The beach is within walking distance. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable, the pillows were almost non-existent though. The balcony took a bit to get out on to because the door was stuck and the AC got stuck and was on untill we unplugged the unit. Overall it was fine. The bar had good food and good drinks. Food was brought out to the pool area where we were sitting or brought up to the room.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. While the property is a bit dated, it was still comfortable and well maintained, and my room was a great size and very clean. The breakfast was a nice bonus with a good variety and everything fresh, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it was a great experience and I’d happily return.
We stay here every time we are in the area. Good breakfast. Short walk to the Ocean. Nice walk to beachfront shops and restaurants. There is even a free shuttle service (golf carts) that will even take you up to downtown Fort Lauderdale. All you pay is a tip. The service is run by the city.
For the price this very averaged experience. A lot of mold. Never had that much allergies and ive not health issue or anything at 34yo. Smell and very high %rh. A simple ERV machine in corridors with transfers duct in room would have eliminate a lot of bad reviews about the state of the hotel. Other than that staff are cool, food cool and beach proximity was very nice. In conclusion fine for a cruise transition, not so nice for a vacation stay.
Yolanda was outstanding! From the moment we walked in she made us feel welcomed. She invited us to have the continental breakfast before it ended. She was extremely warm, friendly, and kind. She made all my kids waffles and offered to help and clean up our mess as well. I previously was feeling overwhelmed from traveling, but after being in her gracious presence, I felt more at peace and ease with her help. Yolanda deserves some recognition and a raise. She was absolutely wonderful!
Outstanding Location. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. The Breakfast has everything you can wish for. The rooms are clean. The pool is well maintained. I'll definitely come back.
We were going on a cruise in Jan. This hotel is in reasonable distance to cruise port with a shuttle that is offered through hotel. It is in walking distance to beach and other activities. The pool was clean and the patio both downstairs and on second floor was clean. The front desk attendant was friendly and helpful with any questions. Being in a central area it was busy. The breakfast was delicious with many options to choose from.
This hotel is convenient to beach, swimming hall of fame, and more. Parking garage is tight spaces but it’s nice to have your car in a gated garage while staying there. The breakfast was wonderful and the breakfast staff were magnificent. Every staff Memeber from the front desk to the housekeeping staff were always friendly. Balcony is a wonderful place to drink your coffee and relax. We stay here often for meets at the Swimming Hall of Fame Pool and it’s super confinement to walk and hot the Market for drinks and snacks on the way. Great stay every time.
